Occasionally we have information that doesn't quite fit in anywhere else, so we decided to place it here...
July 2006 - The Sanford Brigade, at the Rifle River Rendezvous, honored the Midland Highlanders by making us Honorary Members of the Sanford Brigade. We thank them for their support, friendship, and fellowship in helping to make our history become a Living History!
June 2005 - placed the Midland Highlanders Bagpipe Tutor book on the "practice" page as a free download
February 2005- new Drumming page to website added. (more to come soon) July 7th - We received a 2nd Place award in the West Branch Heritage Days Parade; We are very proud to accept this award, and we wish to say a hearty "Thank YOU!" to all fine people in West Branch, we enjoyed playing for you!
July 30th - we have received a grant from the Midland Community Foundation! This money along with a partial matching funds from us will be used to buy kilts. The Midland Area Community Foundation promotes and enables philanthropic giving to enrich and improve the lives of people in our communities. December 2004 - the Midland Highlanders are on TV again on the local access cable channels. Lots of fun and information, check local listings for dates and times
