Michigan’s Bagpipe Band

We would like to welcome you to the home of the Midland Highlanders, a bagpipe and drum band, located in Midland, Michigan.  We are a family orientated band and while we take our music seriously, we love to have fun as well.
We have entertained audiences all over Mid–Michigan during festivals and events from Muskegon to Bay City, and from West Branch to St. Charles and many points in between!

We are one of only a few bagpipe bands who play traditional rope tension drums exclusively, letting the audience experience the thunder of a traditional bagpipe band the way it was meant to be heard!

New on the Website…

The website now has added a print style sheet to the website. Now articles will print out in an easy to read format, I think you will like this touch. This should save you paper and ink and allow you to save the website on paper to refer back to later. The Site Map has been updated to help with navigating. The Patterns, Plans, and DIY pages have been added, more great information to those pages to be added soon. The Members page has been added with just a few important additions needed. The blog articles for June have been archived here, the blog articles for July are archived here. Also, a new blog article has been placed, check there for weekly updates. Large parts of the website are still not coded in, since translating from the old program to this new one takes a bit of doing. Hopefully much more will be added soon, so keep checking back with us.

We are rebuilding the site and many links do not work. we should be up and running over the next few weeks. Thanks for your patience!!
